My friend was invited to apply for a PhD program (full ride + stipend). We are waiting for the word of acceptance to accept (2 are 9 candidates). Our contract has expired, and we must leave our apt. 1. August, but can not buy a house, so we are moving out of state (our credit program prohibits rent). We need the word in the middle of August (we hope that the program will start in late August). What are our options? He has no friends or relatives in the area, we can take, + things, and our budget is limited.
