What is the best way to put a atv/dune buggy adventure together? - dune buggy
In the search to a stroller / wheel / rail adventure sand in Oregon in late October and I'm curious what would be the best way to do this. Being from Texas, do not know where to start. I'm more interested in an adrenaline kick instead of a family environment. New to the sport, I would like a group of people, but not the typical tourist trap, the more courage:), if the site can be built, even better! Thank you!

Heya Sara! Use the life in Oregon for 20 years and now lives in Nevada. I these things all the time. If I may, I wish you some ideas. Your question has a few things to note. It seems you are new to the area of Oregon and is currently without a lot of friends in the sport. When you're from Texas, let me tell you say about the weather here in October. It could be a nice sunny day without a break in the rain or snow / wind / cold. October is perhaps not the best time to do so. The West has almost the relatively stable climate of Texas. I'm not saying do not do it ..... yo! =) You should know that time we have now probably never be the same in October. You have to pack and plan accordingly ....
ReplyDeleteThe first place to start, assuming you have a circle of friends in this case is the clubs to be found, is AA in this area. In fact, when was yes, then I got closer to them. There are many mountain biking and off-road Sandrail / dunebuggy clubs organize events that looktion to participate in a Google search for your domain. You can find a club of Madras and Pendleton, which has its interests, but perhaps someone in Portland, and examples.
Start looking for a club. If there is, in fact, I have friends who are in this, where you can meet in a group, I saw everywhere east of the Cascade Mountains and set south of I-84 to a plan the trip. Most regions in the face of these limits are quite difficult to make a "bold", unknown, adventurous tourist trap due to time restrictions, private property, etc., when the limits I suggest you go space is more open, less constraints and opportunities of bike and camp activities without restriction. If you are planning a trip so get trail maps and BLM regulations for the use of audit rules on camping, etc. If you have any questions, please contact the local office for each domain to explain that we are trying to do and to see that it is okay to do that. Oregon, Washington and California, to amend its rules to govern alone, but in the season. \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt;br>
Living in Nevada, not so far from any point in Oregon, I might consider a trip here. A lot of open space, flexible regulation of the use of ATVs and you can camp almost anywhere, as long as no private property.
Feel free to drop me a line with more details if you want more information or ideas. Have fun, be careful and wait for help.
